FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT
A free online test your students take on their phones
A short check at the end of a lesson tells you more than a hunch. Write five or ten questions, show the game code or QR code, and every student answers on their own device. Straight after the test you can see which questions the class got right — and which topic needs another lesson.
Create a testResults per question
After the game, the report shows how many students answered each question correctly, and you can download the results as a CSV file.
Nothing for students to set up
Students join with a code and their name. No accounts, no app, no email addresses — it works on phones, tablets and laptops.
An explanation after each answer
Add a short explanation to any question. Students see it as soon as the answer is revealed, so the test teaches as well.
- 1
Write the questions
Use questions with one correct answer, several correct answers or yes/no, and give each a time limit of 10 to 60 seconds.
- 2
Start the test
Start a game and project the code or QR code. Students join in a few seconds.
- 3
Review the results
Open the report to see the accuracy for each question and download the results as CSV.
Do students need an account or an email address?
No. They enter the game code and a name — that is all. We recommend nicknames or first names only.
Can students take the test at home?
Students can practise any quiz on their own in solo mode. A results report for the whole class comes from a live game that you host.
Can I export the results?
Yes. After the game, open “Report & export” and download a CSV file with every student’s points per question and the accuracy of each question. It opens in Excel or Google Sheets.
Is it free?
Yes. Quizma is free, with no limit on the number of tests you run.
