By using Quizma (quizma.app) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

Quizma is a free, non-commercial service for creating and playing real-time quizzes, operated by a private individual. The service is provided "as is" — with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability, freedom from errors, or permanent data retention. Do not rely on Quizma as the only storage for important content.

2. Access and codes

No registration is required. Editing a quiz is protected by a code that you choose or that is generated when the quiz is created. You are responsible for keeping the code safe — a lost code cannot be recovered.

3. User content

Quizzes, questions and media you submit remain yours. By submitting content you grant the operator a free licence to store and display it within the service (e.g. public quizzes in the catalogue). You are responsible for having the necessary rights to the content you submit.

It is prohibited to submit content that:

is illegal, offensive, hateful, discriminatory or harassing,
is pornographic or otherwise unsuitable for children and schools,
infringes copyright or other third-party rights,
contains third parties' personal data without their consent,
contains malware, spam or deliberately misleading information.

4. Reporting illegal content

If you come across content that violates these terms or the law, report it to info@quizma.app with a link to the quiz. Reported content will be reviewed and, where justified, removed without undue delay.

5. Moderation

The operator reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms or the law at any time, and to restrict access for users who repeatedly violate the terms.

6. Limitation of liability

The service is provided free of charge. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for damage arising from the use or unavailability of the service, loss of data, or content submitted by users. Quiz authors are responsible for the content of their quizzes.

7. Intellectual property

The Quizma name, logo, design and source code are the property of the operator. Images and GIFs found via Giphy and Unsplash are subject to those services' terms.

8. Changes and termination

These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is always published on this page. The operator may change or discontinue the service at any time.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic.
