Question 1

How do I create a quiz?

Accepted Answer

Click "New quiz", enter a name, add questions with answers and mark the correct one. At the end click "Save quiz" — you'll get a code, make sure to save it.

Question 2

What is the code and what is it for?

Accepted Answer

The code is an edit key — it opens the editor and you can share it with someone who should edit the quiz. To reach "My quizzes" you sign in with Google or email (magic link), not a code.

Question 3

Can I share a quiz with others?

Accepted Answer

Yes — every quiz has a public link. Anyone with the link can start a game, but only those who know the code can edit it.

Question 4

How many players can play at once?

Accepted Answer

Quizma has no fixed limit. It has been tested with dozens of players — we recommend up to 100 for the best experience.

Question 5

How do I connect players to the game?

Accepted Answer

After clicking "Start game", a 6-character game code and QR code will appear. Players go to quizma.app, enter the code and their name — and they're in the game.

Question 6

Can I add images or GIFs to questions?

Accepted Answer

Yes! In each question's editor there is a button to add an image or GIF via URL link.

Question 7

What if I forget the code?

Accepted Answer

No problem — you can reach your quizzes by signing in with Google or email at /quizzes. The code is only for sharing edits, and you can generate a new one anytime in the editor.

Question 8

How do I edit an existing quiz?

Accepted Answer

Sign in at /quizzes (Google or email), open the quiz and click "Edit" — the editor opens without a code. Or enter the edit code if the quiz isn't under your account.

Can I give my class a quiz as homework?
